Orthodox Jewish groups slap lawsuit against Cuomo, claim COVID-19 lockdown measures violate First Amendment rights
The groups, which included Agudath Israel of America and Agudath Israel of Kew Garden Hills, noted that Cuomo announced the latest public health mandates just 48 hours before the Orthodox Jewish community began observing three holidays on Oct. 9, 10 and 11.
